According to the Punch, another buidling has
collapsed in Laotan street in the Ebute Metta area
of Lagos state this morning, 15th of July. Rescue
teams and other agencies are currently on ground
to assess the damage.
Although the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos
State Emergency Management Agency have said
that there is no record of casualty, residents claim
7 people have died while 14 others are critically
injured. It should be recalled that last week a complex under construction reportedly collapsed in Yaba which is very close to Ebute Metta.
