The Nigerian Army on Saturday said its troops made “tremendous success” in the ongoing operations to clear the extremist Boko Haram sect from locations around the country’s North-East.
The spokesperson for the Army, Sani Usman, said in a statement made available to PREMIUM TIMES that troops of the 7 Division Garrison, 112 Battalion and Army Headquarters Strike Group, recorded tremendous success in a clearance operations against terrorists at Kotokuma, Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State.
“The troops cleared the terrorists camp which was equipped with medical facility, Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) factory, fuel dump, mechanical workshop, generators and several water points,” Mr. Usman, a colonel, said.
