Meet the 3-Brother Gang Terrorizing Lagos Residents as Police Refuses to Intervene (Photos)

Residents of Ojodu in Lagos have accused three brothers, identified as cult brothers, of terrorizing them as the disclosed that the brothers last Tuesday used machetes to attack numerous people.
 
Three brothers, identified as 'cult brothers' which includes Friday Augustine, Chukwudi Augustine and Obinna Augustine, who last Tuesday, reportedly used machetes to attack numerous people and inflicted grievous cuts on their victims at the Isheri bus stop in the Ojodu area of Lagos State, has been accused by the residents of terrorizing them on a daily basis. 
 
A resident told a corresponded in an interview that the assailants appeared to have 'bought the police,' adding that the police had failed to arrest the brothers despite reports to them.
 
According to the resident, the alleged gangsters last Tuesday, descended on a young man named Yomi Adegoke who tried to pacify the brothers who were reportedly threatening some residents. 
 
"Yomi’s efforts to make peace and prevent a fight between the gang and the residents failed, as the cult boys descended on him with machetes," said a man who stated that he witnessed the attack. He accused Friday Augustine as the leader of the attack, adding that he personally cut the victim’s head and other parts of the body with a machete. 
 
It was gathered that the residents disclosed that the brothers also seriously wounded a woman during the melee. According to the residents, the gangster-like siblings had left the scene after the attack. One of them told a reporter that the assault was reported to the police, but to no avail. 

"They are still walking around freely without arrest by the police," adding, "We saw them yesterday and today at Sabo and Adebowale Streets in Ojodu, and they were threatening other people.
 
"They boast openly that they cannot be arrested by the police," one witness said, adding that the brothers even warned that they would come after anybody who reported them.
 
Adegoke was described as critically ill and on admission at a hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
