The Nigerian Army has increased the cash reward it promised to give
anyone with useful information that would help in the rescue of its
abducted officer from N500,000 to N1 million.
This information is contained in a statement issued on Monday by the spokesman of the Army 1 Division, Kaduna, Col. Abdul Usman.
He said the cash reward was increased to mobilise more support from the public for the rescue of the abducted officer.
The Nigerian Army has increased to one million naira the reward for
anyone with information that could lead to the rescue of the abducted
officer, Colonel Samaila Inusa.
The army had yesterday promised N500,000 cash reward for the informant.
Military authorities said they will give adequate protection to anyone providing the required information.
Meanwhile, as part of efforts to successfully rescue the senior
officer, Spokesman of 1 Division Nigerian Army, Colonel Usman told
newsmen on Monday morning that the Army authority is ready to give the
said cash reward to any person with useful information that could lead
to the rescue of officer.
The authority had earlier promised N500,000 cash reward for the
informant, but it had on Monday raised the cash reward to N1million.
