The Ogun State Government has commenced plans to inaugurate mobile clinic services for rural communities in the state.
According to a statement on Wednesday, the initiative is to bring quality health care service delivery closer to the people.
The statement said the Commissioner for Health, Dr Babatunde Ipaye, made the disclosure at a ceremony to mark the end of the February 2016 Immunisation Plus programme in the Ifo Local Government Area of the state.
It said, “Ipaye revealed that the state government would renovate the two health centres in the council, adding that the Ifo General Hospital would be given a facelift.
“He said the Community Base Health Insurance Scheme, ‘Araya’, would be re-inaugurated in Ifo in order for the people to benefit from health campaign programmes of the state government.”
