Kemi Afolabi denies dating Odunlade Adekola

Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi, has denied allegations that suggests that she is dating Yoruba actor, Odunlade Adekola. She revealed this in an interview with Encomium Weekly, stating that Adekola is a good friend of her husband.

Afolabi said, “My husband and Odunlade Adekola have a cordial relationship because it’s been a long time. Please leave the gentleman alone. He’s happily married. He’s someone I respect.

“Odunlade is one of those people who encouraged me when I came back. When I was back, I had to take a queue. But he was one of those people who picked me up and encouraged me.”

Afolabi added that the rumour linking her with the actor was as a result of the roles they played together on the movie set. She said that the stories concerning a romantic affair between her and Adekola was also due to the chemistry they were able to exhibit while playing their movie roles.
