A young Nigerian in the South-west has embarked on an uphill task to protest against the aborted hike in the prices of data services in Nigeria as directed by the National Communications Commission.
Beta Adewale Adesina in his lone protest
A man named Beta Adewale Adesina was seen on major roads of Osogbo, Osun State on Wednesday 30th November 2016 to display his displeasure about the data tariff increase plan before the senate halt the implementation of the wicked move.
He told an Amiloaded correspondent that he enjoyed rapt attention he got from passer-by people, drivers, passengers and bike men trying to read what he had to display, enough of rants on social media without action whenever government implements a policy that will affect our peaceful lives as citizens.
He also said that everything in the country has increased and we can't let them increase the only thing working for us which is the internet.
He also said that he already planned to continue the protest on social media before it was announced that the united voice of Nigerians has put a stop to the wicked policy.
Meanwhile, NCC has aborted the imminent increment after a negative response from the senate and the generality of the public.
