Hours After Her Rant On IG Kaffy Apologies

Just after coming on IG to rant about how Davido and other artitses have been disrespecting dancers, Kaffy has come out again to apologize for the rants, saying it’s never her way but she just had to do it. Some of her followers however felt the apology wasn't necessary because she did the right thing and who ever advised her to apologize will make people miss the point and dancers will keep being disrespected. Continue…

Kaffy’s apology

I want to start by apologizing profusely for my profanity. It's not how I roll .i am one person who promote discipline and respect among dancers towards their clients and one another.
However this isssue is REAL. We MATTER and deserve respect as we have become part of the building block of the entertainment world.
We communicate with our bodies what words and sound can't express. We paint a picture that defies laws of nature ND produce masterpieces beyond mere imaginations.
It requires a lot of brain power to begin to be a dancer not to talk of the ability to command muscles people can't imagine using and that is still underrating the Power of the Art of Dance.
From youth empowerment to mind empowerment it is the least looked into form of psychological, physical and spiritual reformation.
And I can categorically tell u alot of lives have been changed for the better because we danced.
So WE MATTER. beyond the dance floor we matter against all odds of societal definition of success we matter, thrive and we rule.
So it is time we take control and have a voice. Create structure that will protect us from further disrespect and I will do all in my power to continue to protect dancers.I know great minds out there in our world that will rise up too. It's been years and I have been quiet for too long.
And this is not just in Africa it's everywhere.
Davido was just the last straw.it didn't start with him but we can put a stop.
Thank you to all who support this fight. God bless #Dancers #Dancetrepenuers #Danceteachers #Dancelovers #Dancemoms #Dancedads
#RESPECTHEDANCE

US Swimmer Ryan Lochte Apologises For Rio 'Robbery' Behaviour

Ryan Lochte, the disgraced American swimmer, has apologised for his behaviour and for not being more honest in how he described what happened during an early morning ruccus at a service station.

In a post on Instagram, he said: I want to apologise for my behaviour last weekend - for not being more careful and candid in how I described the events of that early morning and for my role in taking the focus away from the many athletes fulfilling their dreams of participating in the Olympics."

It comes hours after American Olympic authorities have sought to draw a line under the "Rio robbery" controversy - issuing an apology to Brazil and arranging for one of the swimmers involved to make a $10,800 payment by means of reparations.

American officials have also said the men’s behaviour was not acceptable.

“The behaviour of these athletes is not acceptable, nor does it represent the values of Team USA or the conduct of the vast majority of its members,” Scott Blackman, CEO of the United States Olympic Committee, said in a statement.

“We will further review the matter, and any potential consequences for the athletes, when we return to the United States. On behalf of the United States Olympic Committee, we apologise to our hosts in Rio and the people of Brazil for this distracting ordeal in the midst of what should rightly be a celebration of excellence.”

Chelsea & Jose Mourinho apologize and settle with Dr Eva Carneiro after she threatened to expose embarrassing texts and emails

Jose Mourinho and Chelsea football club have ended the employment tribunal case with ex-Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro, after agreeing on a settlement package with the doctor, just minutes before she was to climb the witness stand and expose embarrassing texts and emails sent by Jose Mourinho to her after alleging that Mourinho called her 'daughter of a whore' in Portuguese and also told her she should work for Chelsea Ladies FC and not the male football team.

A deal between Jose Mourinho and Dr Eva Carneiro was done in a back corridor of the court after Mourinho begged her and Chelsea then issued a statement saying it 'regretted the circumstances' which led to former club doctor leaving and 'apologises unreservedly to her and her family for the distress caused'.
The case was expected to last seven to 10 days and could have led to potentially embarrassing witness statements and documents - including texts and emails - being made public.
Read Chelsea FC's official statement after the cut.
The club regrets the circumstances which led to Dr Carneiro leaving the club and apologises unreservedly to her and her family for the distress caused.
'We wish to place on record that in running onto the pitch Dr Carneiro was following both the rules of the game and fulfilling her responsibility to the players as a doctor, putting their safety first.
'Dr Carneiro has always put the interests of the club's players first. Dr Carneiro is a highly competent and professional sports doctor. She was a valued member of the club's medical team and we wish her every success in her future career.
'Jose Mourinho also thanks Dr Carneiro for the excellent and dedicated support she provided as First Team Doctor and he wishes her a successful career.'
In a statement Dr Carneiro said: 'I am relieved that today we have been able to conclude this tribunal case. It has been an extremely difficult and distressing time for me and my family and I now look forward to moving forward with my life.
'My priority has always been the health and safety of the players and fulfilling my duty of care as a doctor. In running onto the pitch to treat a player, who requested medical attention, I was following the rules of the game and fulfilling my medical responsibilities.
'I would like to thank everyone who has supported me including my husband, family and friends and members of the football community.'
