For some time now, it seems the ex-governor of Rivers state has been silent, but the former governor finally broke his silence due to
purposeless journey the newly elected governor began to probe him.
The former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has described the move by his successor, governor Nyesom Wike as a purposeless mission. Amaechi described Wike as a good actor who is trying to gain popularity through the pages of
newspaper. The former governor therefore called on Mr. Nyesom to go into proper acting, as it seems that’s where he rightfully belong.
Mr. Rotimi thereby assured that he will guide and protect his name and image with every available
legal means form all those who had vowed to
tarnish it with falsehood campaign.
The former governor has also gave it back to his
former deputy, describing him (former deputy gov)
as a betrayer who does not worth wasting
precious time on. The former deputy has been
going round parading himself and describing
Amaechi’s administration as the most corrupt one
in the state’s history. But the question is, was
the administration corrupt during his 8 years of
serving as the second in command or when did
the corruption start?
Meanwhile, the state All Progressive Congress has
also described Wike’s mission as fruitless one
and worthless exercise that will soon end, as the
governor will soon be sacked by the Tribunal
since he never won the election but rather he was
imposed on the state with the help of past ruling
party and state’s INEC.
