President Buhari estate at Abeokuta
The wide land mass
located in Oke Mosan area of Ogun, just some metres before the MKO
Abiola Trade Fair Centre, is expansive and already has many road
constructions in it.
The ‘President Muhammadu Buhari Estate’ is written with Nigeria’s
national colours (green and white) and may have been constructed to
herald the presence of the Nigerian president in the state a few weeks
ago.
A closer look at the estate which houses very few detached buildings
showed that work did not start there until a few months ago.
It is unknown, however, whether the estate was simply named after
President Buhari as a mark of honour or if he is the one undertaking the
project in the southwestern state of Ogun.
