A
man has raised alarm to the heartless activities of some Nigerians in
the north who are stealing food items donated to the IDP camps and now
selling the items at shops in the state.
A twitter user has reported a shocking incident happening in
Maiduguri, Borno State. It has been revealed that food items donated by
the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) are now being stolen by
suspected workers at the Internally Displaced Persons' Camps and sold at
shops in Maiduguri.
The sudden revelation has exposed the wickedness of some Nigerians
who as a result of this act has made many people in these camps to go
hungry and suffer.
The picture released by the twitter user shows some of the food
items marked with the ICRC logo at shops for customers to buy. This
development has been condemned as it is very bad.
