I Covered My Husband’s Mouth With Pillow While Assassin Stabbed Him To Death - Wife

A 39-year-old housewife, Mrs. Omotayo Salawudeen, has confessed that she covered the mouth of her husband, Alhaji Hakeem Salawudeen, 43, while a 24-year-old man she hired to kill him stabbed him to death.

Omotayo, who was paraded by the police in Osogbo on yesterday for alleged murder, made the confession while being interviewed by journalists.

The suspect said her man was a loving husband, adding that she had sex with him before Dolapo Oladapo, whom she hired to kill him, stabbed him to death.

She said, “I hired Dolapo Oladapo to kill my husband. We were married for about 17 years; we were blessed with three children. They are aged 17, 15 and 12. My husband did not offend me; I was just mad at him.

“I choked him with a pillow after having sex with him and Oladapo stabbed him to death with a knife. I don’t know what came over me, but I regret my action.”

However, Punch correspondent gathered from a police source that the man had impregnated a woman sometime in 2016.

The police source said on the day, the wife called Hakeem, who was at a party, to come back home.

He said, “Unknown to him, his wife had brought an assassin home and hid him in one of the rooms.”

Oladapo said Omotayo hired him to punish her husband, adding that she promised him that she would give him anything he requested if the operation was successful.

The Commissioner of Police in Osun State, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye, stated that a relation of the deceased reported the incident to the police.

He said Oladapo was the first to be arrested for the murder of Hakeem.

Adeoye said, “Investigation revealed that Omotayo did not only hire Oladapo, but actively participated in killing her husband.”

The CP said investigation was ongoing, adding that the case would be charged to court soon.

A 34-year-old driver, Christopher Igbede, who allegedly used his car keys to stab a man to death, was on Thursday brought before an Ebute Meta Magistrates’ Court.

He was, however, granted bail in the sum of N250,000. The accused, who resides in Egan in Igando, a Lagos suburb, is facing murder charge.  The Magistrate, Mrs. Bola Folarin-Williams, asked that the plea of the accused be taken after questioning the Investigating Police Officer and carpeting him for a “shoddy” investigation.

“The IPO failed to show probable cause on why the accused should be remanded for murder and not for manslaughter,’’ she said.

She granted the accused two responsible sureties in like sum, one of whom must be living in his own house.

The Prosecutor, Inspector Oladele Adebayo, had told the court that the offence was committed on March 19 at about 8.30p.m. on Egan Road, Igando area of Lagos State.

He alleged that during an argument, the accused used his car keys to stab one Cyril Ugwu, 38, which resulted to his death.

The offence contravened Section 223 of the Criminal law of Lagos State, 2015. The case was adjourned until May 22 pending advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions.

Man Murders Wife, Cuts Her Into Pieces (Photos)

A Lagos driver, Shakiru Bello, who was arrested for allegedly killing his wife, Sherifat, said he cut her remains into pieces to escape the wrath of her father, Akeem Atanda, and to avoid being prosecuted for her death.

Shakiru added that after hiding her remains in different uncompleted buildings in Lagos, he fled to Ibadan, Oyo State.

A team from the Ijora Badia Police Division, led by the Operations Officer, ASP Talabi Segun, recovered Sherifat’s head and neck in Morocco, Yaba, while other parts of her body were recovered in another uncompleted building on Moshalashi Street, Somolu.

Punch correspondent gathered that Sherifat and Shakiru, who were married for over nine years, were separated in July 2016.

The victim, who lived on Daramola Street in the Ijora Badia area, had, however, last Monday reportedly demanded money for the upkeep of their three children.

Shakiru was said to have invited her to a location where they allegedly met. She never returned home.

The victim’s father, Akeem, on Tuesday reported a case of missing person to the police, leading to a search for the suspect.

A source said Akeem told policemen that an unidentified number called him that his daughter fell into a lagoon.

The source said, “The police tracked the number, and discovered that the caller was in Ibadan. He (Shakiru) was arrested and brought down to Lagos around 1am on Saturday.”

The suspect was said to have led the police to the two uncompleted buildings where the remains of the late Sherifat were recovered.

Shakiru said, “After we separated, I secretly reconciled with her and we started meeting. On the average, I gave her N15,000 in a week. On that Monday, she called me that she needed money and we agreed to meet.

“I gave her N10,000 that evening. She later begged me to accompany her to Lagos Island where her niece was admitted in a hospital. We took a motorcycle and were on the Third Mainland Bridge when a truck hit us from behind.

“I took her to my house on Olaleye Street, Somolu, around 12am. I went out to get her balm and some drugs. Unfortunately, she died. I was afraid of her father, who didn’t want to see us together.

Also, I couldn’t report to the police, so I decided to put her body in a sack and dispose of it. When it was not going into the sack, I cut off her arms, head, legs and other parts.”

A police source, however, told Punch correspondent that the private parts of the victim were missing, saying the suspect might not be acting alone.

A Punch correspondent visited Akorede Street, Ijora Badia, where scores of sympathisers besieged the victim’s parents’ house.

Sherifat’s younger sister, Shakirat Kareem, said her sister was separated from the husband sometime in July 2016.

She said, “He told her that he was given a medicine which both of them must rub on their bodies before making love.  My sister tricked him and secretly told another relative, who informed my father. My father ordered us to go and pack her luggage. That was how they separated.

“But four weeks ago, he called her on the telephone and said he wanted to see her, but my sister refused. I grabbed the phone from her and told him never to call her again.”

The victim’s father, Akeem, said he was informed that his daughter was missing last Tuesday, adding that when he called the suspect, he denied knowing her whereabouts.

He said, “He told us he was at a traditional healing home in Ibadan where he was receiving treatment for an accident. When we got there, the owner of the home denied seeing him.

“We went to his mother’s house and she said she was coming out to see us. We later noticed she had sneaked out through the back door and escaped.

“The police in Lagos later asked us to come down; that they had arrested him. The Area Commander, Area B, told me that my daughter had been killed and her corpse cut into pieces.

“The police should arrest all those involved in the killing. I want justice for her. It is unfortunate that my daughter has three children for him.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said investigations were ongoing.

“The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, has directed that the suspect be prosecuted in a law court at the end of investigations,” she added.

Mother Killed Her 17 Month Child, Father Charged With Child Endangerment

Allegheny County Police say they have now also charged the father of 17 month old Andre Price III in connection with the child's death. The charge is due to the fact that he didn't really put any effort into saving his children after his baby mama, Christian Clark threatened to kill them.

The boy's mother, Christian Clark, who allegedly killed her son is already facing criminal charges including murder and attempted murder of her daughter who is fortunately alive and well.

On his Facebook wall, Andre Price Jr. shared a photo of Clark previously trying to suffocate their son which made some commenters think he should have taken Clark's threats seriously when she sent him several texts threatening to kill the children.

Man Stabs Tout To Death Over #100

Policeman Stabs Tout To Death Over N100

Welcome To Ladun Liadi's Blog / 1 hour ago

Pandemonium erupted on Saturday at Berger bus stop, Lagos State, after a policeman, who was a passenger on a 14-seater bus end route from Ibadan, Oyo State, reportedly stabbed a motor park tout, popularly called agbero, to death.

The deceased was identified simply as Ahmed and was reportedly planning to marry in December.

The policeman was said to be serving in a command  outside Lagos.

Punch Metro learnt that one of Ahmed’s friends had stopped the bus with the inscription, Success Express, and demanded N100 from the driver, who reportedly declined to pay the money.

In the ensuing argument between the driver and the agbero, the policeman, who was at the front seat, reportedly got off from the bus.

A Punch correspondent gathered that Ahmed had gone to the scene to know what transpired.

“But the policeman suddenly brought out a very sharp knife and stabbed him (Ahmed) in the stomach. He held the policeman for a while and slumped. He stood up, staggered and slumped again.

“The policeman put on  trousers usually worn by riot policemen,” an eyewitness, Goke Adeleke, said.

Ahmed was said to have been taken in the bus to the Lagos State Accident and Emergency Centre at the Ojota Tollgate, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.

A friend of the deceased, who identified himself as Agberoko, said men of the Rapid Response Squad at the bus stop released tear gas canisters to rescue the killer cop.

Agberoko, who spoke in Yoruba, said, “The RRS men shot into the air and also fired tear gas canisters to disperse us when we intercepted the policeman.

“They rescue and took him into the Armoured Personnel Carrier stationed in the area.”

A Punch correspondent, who arrived at the scene shortly after Ahmed’s corpse was brought back to the bus stop, noted that his friends went violent, and vandalised the bus.

The angry mob also hurled stones at the RRS’ APC as the operatives drove off from the scene.

A trader, Taibat Adejare, who was in tears, said Ahmed was decent among his counterparts.

She said, “He just came out around 4pm today (Saturday). He ate a snack with a bottle of drink. It was about an hour after he came out that the incident happened.

“He was very peaceful and jovial. He didn’t force drivers to pay. The policeman stabbed him with a poisonous knife.

“I was joking with him some days ago that he should go and marry. He said he was planning marriage already and that it would come up in December.”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, however, said the suspect was not a policeman, adding that the corpse had been deposited in a morgue.

He said, “A group of social miscreants allegedly engaged one Sulaiman Anafi, a driver in charge of a Mazda commercial bus with number plate, XB 251 LEM, in a brawl at the Berger bus stop, inward Lagos, over parking ticket.

“In the process, one of the passengers in the bus reportedly stabbed one of the area boys in the area with a knife and he died on the way to a nearby hospital.

“The suspect has been arrested. He is not a policeman.”

A Nigerian Nanny Arrested For Force Feeding Baby To Death

A crying baby woke up a napping nanny who then force-fed the child until the child became unresponsive and died, police said.

Oluremi Oyindasola, 66, of Glenarden, Md., was arrested Tuesday and is charged with second-degree murder, first-degree child abuse resulting in death and other related charges after 8-month-old Enita Salubi died in her care, Prince George’s County police announced Wednesday.

A home surveillance system recorded Oyindasola, a live-in nanny, napping on the couch of a Glenarden home when she was disturbed by the crying child, who came up to her in a toddler walker, according to police charging documents.

Oyindasola tried to feed the child while she was still in the walker but was unsuccessful, police said.

Oyindasola then pulled the child from the walker, held the baby around the child’s chest, removed the nipple from the baby’s bottle and “proceeded to pour a large amount of white liquid directly inside the victim’s mouth,” police charging documents state.

For 25 seconds, the child “appeared to squirm and aggressively resist as the defendant continued to force a large amount of liquid inside her mouth,” records state.

After the first bottled was drained, Oyindasola then forced the child to consume the contents of a second bottle.

During the feedings the baby “displayed difficulty breathing and signs of medical distress,” records state.

After the second bottle, the child became unresponsive and at about 4:10 p.m. was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead.

An autopsy revealed white liquid inside the child’s lungs, police said. A medical examiner determined the baby died of asphyxiation and the child’s death was a homicide, police said.
Oyindasola was the only person watching the child when the baby suffered her fatal injuries, police said.

Relatives of the baby declined to comment when a reporter knocked on the door of an address listed for both the nanny and the child.

It is unclear whether Oyindasola has an attorney, and her family could not be reached for comment.
Oyindasola is in custody of the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.

Unbelievable: Man Confess Rape Or Murder Of 4 Year On Live TV

A man, known as Himmet Akturk has admitted to raping and killing a four-year-old girl during a live TV broadcast in Turkey.

The broadcast which investigated Akturk’s crimes was handled by a TV presenter, Muge Anli, who had started looking into the disappearance of a four-year-old Irmak Kupal, who went missing while playing outside her home in the Alasehir district of western Turkey’s Manisa Province.

Anli, who reportedly invited Akturk over for an investigative discussion on her Turkish TV show, which specialises on looking into family dramas and crimes, had allegedly, piled pressure on Akturk during his investigation of Irmak’s death, and was reported to have broken down, admitting being responsible for the victim’s death.

He was immediately arrested by police and taken in for further questioning where he allegedly made a full confession, telling the police that he had raped Irmak, strangled her and then buried the body. He said he put her body in a sack, stashed it underneath his wheelbarrow and dropped it off in a public bin. But when he realised the bin had not been emptied the following day, he retrieved the body and buried it in a nearby vineyard.

Police started digging in the area where he said he had disposed of her body and found the victim’s remains two days later. Officers working with police dogs also found hair and blood, believed to be from the victim, at Artuk’s home. The footage was part of his court case where he was then convicted until further hearing which will be held to determine his sentencing.
